I don’t know about you, but I’ve always dreamed of a top-down road trip in a convertible. Unfortunately, I don’t own one, and probably never will unless I win the lottery. How about you? Do you have a dream car? If you do, and you have a little windfall to spend, you might want to rent one on your next road trip! How about a Mercedes? Or a Mustang convertible? Want something bigger like a Cadillac Escalade? Well you can rent one and live your road trip dream for anywhere between $75 and $200 a day from Hertz’s Prestige or Fun Collections. Any car with the Prestige Collection also comes with a GPS and satellite radio (no more desperate searching the dial for a decent song). I’ve been enjoying reading them all – from the incoherent ramblings of stressed out mother (enough about the barf) to the brilliant stylings of two multi-talented road trippers on an 8-month odyssey around the U.S. of A. The latter is the smart and highly entertaining blog lastgreatroadtrip.net by Sean and Erica, a couple who both write incredibly well about their adventures and take fantastic photos of all that they see (which are duly posted in their gallery).
